×ÔοÊÓƵ Regents to Meet May 8

The ×ÔοÊÓƵ (×ÔοÊÓƵ System) Board of Regents will meet on Thursday (May 8) in Lubbock. The meeting will take place in the Regents Conference Room, First Floor (104A), in the ×ÔοÊÓƵ System Building (1508 Knoxville Ave.).

Below are highlights of the topics and items to be discussed at the upcoming meeting, including estimated times with periodic recesses. Meeting materials and a livestream of the meeting will be available online. Parking for news media is available in the C-16 parking lot off Knoxville Avenue and Texas Tech Parkway.

Thursday, May 8

8:25 a.m. – Ceremonial swearing-in of newly appointed and re-appointed regents

8:30 a.m. – Call to order; convene as Meeting of the Board and Committee of the Whole Board

• Introductions and Recognitions
• ASU Leading the Charge Capital Campaign Update
• Approval of minutes
• Approval of Consent and Information agendas
• 2025 and 2026 BOR meeting schedule

9:10 a.m. – Finance and Investments Committee

9:40 a.m. – Academic, Clinical and Student Affairs Committee

10:05 a.m. – Audit Committee

10:10 a.m. – Facilities Committee

10:25 a.m. – Executive Session

4:00 p.m. – Following Executive Session, reconvene into Open Session as Committee of the Whole
